Vice President of Human Resources

Current Responsibilities

Laura Lee serves as the Vice President of Human Resources for Gateway Management Company.  In this role, Laura’s areas of responsibility include developing a strategic HR program to include benefits, employee relations, payroll, and staffing.  Laura joined the Gateway Management Company in March of 2012. 

Relevant Experience

With more than 15 years of experience as a Human Resources Professional, Laura has works for several corporations with locations across the US.  Laura has gained extensive knowledge of the Human Resources field from payroll, recruiting, benefits, training and development and employee relations. Prior to Gateway, Laura served 8 years as the Human Resources Generalist of a large Property and Casualty Wholesaler headquartered in Birmingham, AL.  During this time Laura was responsible for human resource activities of 31 branch offices. 

Education/Affiliations

Laura is a member of the National Society of Human Resource Management.  She currently holds the Senior Professional in Human Resources Management (SPHR) and the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) designations.  Laura is also a certified Human Resources Generalist from the Society of Human Resource Management.  She regularly attends continuing education seminars and conferences, to stay on top of regulations and trends in the industry.  Laura graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration concentrating in Human Resources Management.
